It’s cute as can be! Lexington Park is that community of garden homes located between Lexington Estates and University Club Plantation off Nicholson Drive. It shares an entrance, club house, and community pool with Lexington Estates, and there are walking trails and homes facing the lakes that separate the two communities.

All of the homes in Lexington Park were built by Alvarez Construction beginning in 2015. From the day lots were available it was an immediate success. There just weren’t any homes in this location and price range with the quality that Carlos Alvarez delivers in his new homes. These homes have high ceiling, beautiful crown moldings, custom cabinetry, and well-appointed kitchens that came with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliance packages. There were some options that you could chose but even the base entry home was great. So, it’s not surprising that there were waiting lists for lots as each filing was opened.

What’s so great about this location? On either side there are homes that are easily 2 to even 5 times the cost of purchasing a home in Lexington Park. And, the architects designed great front elevations with brick work, gas lights, and landscaping that deliver Louisiana charm. And, of course you’re only 10 – 15 minutes away from LSU and Baton Rouge’s biomedical corridor.
