Since 2013 DSLD has been building homes near LSU between Nicholson and Burbank Drive. The first neighborhood was Magnolia Lakes, followed by Hunters Trace and Lake Villas. Then came The Cottages at University Villas, Kennilworth Crossing, and Creekside Cottages. Bellegrove Square is their newest entry. It’s located on Burbank drive slightly southeast of Bluebonnet Blvd, before you get to the BREC Soccer Park. They are building homes with many of the floor plans that have been so popular in the other communities they’ve built in the area.

Why are these homes so popular? They are fairly priced and represent a good value for the money. The floor plans at Bellegrove Square are spacious and have backyards large enough for gardening, play space, and pets. There are 3- and 4- bedroom options and, to date, all are on one story. At Bellegrove Square buyers can select a variety of color options and materials for their homes if selected early in the construction process. All homes will also feature stainless steel appliances.

Some of the features my clients like most about DSLD homes is their energy efficiency. The homes at Bellegrove Square, like other DSLD communities, feature radiant barriers, tankless water heaters, and windows with low-E3 glass. The utility bills are low in comparison to many of the older homes in the area. DSLD also has an excellent customer care department and a multi visit followup plan for every homeowner.

Homes at Bellegrove Square will undoubtedly be popular due to their proximity to LSU and the new Arlington Marketplace. Head north for just a couple of miles and you’re at LSU, Tiger Stadium, and Alex Box Stadium. On your way there you’ll also pass the new Arlington Marketplace, anchored by Rouses Market and featuring restaurants, shopping, banking, auto, and fitness services.
